Music was the heartbeat of my world, shaping me long before I realized it.

Thanks to my parents, I was raised on a rock-solid foundation: The Beatles, ABBA, Meat Loaf, Rush, AC/DC, and a wall-to-wall soundtrack of ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s legends. By the time I hit my teens, music wasn’t just in my life—it was my life. I had a personal soundtrack for every memory. Whether sneaking out at 13 to see KISS on their Crazy Nights tour or sobbing to “Read ’Em and Weep” after my first heartbreak, music was my constant. Even working security at our local coliseum gave me a rare front-row seat—and sometimes a backstage pass—to the very bands that shaped my soul.
